WebExe – Useful Website and Ebook Compiler
The first question that comes to mind is this: What do you get by using the Wulfsoft-developed WebExe application? Well, with the WebExe application you can easily produce ebooks, manuals, product catalogs, price lists, and other things of the sort.
Another question pops up: What is WebExe and what does it do? Actually, that’s two questions, but who’s counting. WebExe is in fact a website and ebook compiler. What it does is it takes a single HTML file or a complete website that you created and it wraps it up nicely in a single, self-contained .exe file with an integrated web browser.
And a third question comes to mind: Why would anyone want to get the Wulfsoft-developed application WebExe? To provide an answer to this question we would have to give you a list of reasons why WebExe is a great application. So that is what we will do; here goes:
Protect your work
After you create an ebook, or website, or some other kind of HTML-based content, you can pack it up nicely in a self-contained executable file and deliver that file to your readers, customers, so on. The reader will be able to access your content easily; what he will not be able to do is copy, print, and save. To protect your work, you can disable functions such as copy, print, and save. Additionally you can password protect your work; only those who know the password will have access to it.
You can take things even further by setting an expiration date for your ebook. The reader will no longer have acess to the ebook after that date.
Looks
By using WebExe you can specify the size of the output browser window, customize the display of the program's menu bars, and configure the full-text search.
Ease of use
You will find that WebExe is quite easy to use. Its thought-out interface will allow you to get your job done easily and rapidly.
Your readers will find it quite easy to access your work. The self-contained executable file you give them works like a charm; your readers will be able to read your work on any Windows powered computer. They will not need any additional software to launch the exe file.
